Graphics Production Worker – Smith Graphics & Design, Inc.
Smith Graphics Inc., a leading producer of large-format graphics and signage, is seeking a reliable and motivated General Production Worker to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting daily production operations – assisting with printing, cutting, assembly, packaging, and shipping of graphics and signage products. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn multiple aspects of the production process.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in operating large‑format printers, laminators, and cutters under supervision.
Prepare materials for printing, cutting, and finishing.
Load and unload materials from machines and staging areas.
Operate forklift or pallet jack for loading/unloading deliveries (training provided if needed).
Trim, weed, tape, and package finished graphics for shipment or installation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production floor and workstations.
Follow all safety guidelines and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
Help with general shop tasks including assembly, fabrication, and inventory organization.
Support the Production Supervisor and other team members with various production needs.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a production, print, or signage environment preferred but not required.
Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with hands and equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Positive attitude, dependable attendance, and strong work ethic.
Willingness to learn new skills and assist in multiple areas of production.
Forklift experience or certification is a plus (not required).
Basic computer literacy and attention to detail are important.
Work Environment
Full‑time, on‑site position in a fast‑paced production facility.
Team‑oriented environment with cross‑training opportunities in all areas of graphics production.
Monday–Friday schedule (overtime as needed for large runs or deadlines).
