Marketing & Recruiting Assistant
At Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP, the Marketing & Recruiting Assistant will provide administrative support to the Marketing and Recruiting departments. The Assistant will play a key role in aiding the firm’s recruiting, business development, and marketing initiatives. The position offers significant exposure to professionals throughout the firm and an excellent opportunity for advancement. Based in the Los Angeles office, the assistant will assist Cox Castle’s three offices (Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Francisco).
Responsibilities
Manage department calendars, including coordinating meetings and interviews
Assist with client, firm, and recruiting event coordination
Assist with preparation of pitches and proposals
Assist with drafting, reviewing and editing marketing communications
Update firm website, including attorney biographies
Maintain inventory of recruiting and marketing collateral and promotional items
Provide administrative support to the summer associate program and attorney recruiting
Assist with other projects as assigned
Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a law firm or professional service setting.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new platforms.
Ability to respect, protect, and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
Excellent organization and communication skills, oral and written.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Exceptional client service, both internal and external.
Flexibility to work additional hours, as necessary.
Pay Range and Compensation $55,000.00/yr – $70,000.00/yr.
For the first 90 days, you will be required to work completely on‑site. Hybrid work arrangement outside of our Century City office, with the expectation to be in the office 4 times per week and on an as‑needed basis. Full‑time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance (with optional HSA), dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
