Job Responsibilities
Partner with the VP of Business Relations & Marketing to translate annual goals and KPIs into actionable marketing initiatives and a proactive annual marketing plan.
Lead quarterly planning, execution, and performance tracking to ensure measurable ROI across campaigns, events, and sales enablement tools.
Help build and continuously improve marketing processes that streamline execution, increase accountability, and clarify ownership.
Ensure marketing efforts are carried through in the field by collaborating with the Business Development (BD) team to align campaigns, share key messages, and amplify impact.
Build high‑impact bid proposals and sales materials that clearly communicate Custer’s capabilities, processes, and value to clients.
Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent brand representation in all client‑facing materials and experiences.
Manage timelines, stakeholders, and creative resources to deliver polished print, digital, and video assets.
Oversee daily HubSpot operations, including campaign execution, newsletters, and contact management.
Maintain CRM accuracy (HubSpot + CRM integration) and build dashboards that track performance from lead through closed sale.
Coordinate project timelines, vendors, and post‑event analysis to maximize engagement and impact.
Take a data‑driven approach to marketing initiatives, using analytics to measure success, refine strategy, and demonstrate ROI.
Align priorities, manage workloads, and drive cohesive execution across the marketing team.
Manage collaboration between the Customer Experience Specialist, BD team, and external partners.
Oversee priorities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure seamless execution, brand consistency, and alignment with Custer’s marketing and business development strategy.
Create case studies, project spotlights, and marketing copy that highlight Custer’s expertise and client success stories.
Serve as the final quality checkpoint for messaging, visual identity, and brand standards.
Represent marketing priorities with clarity and professionalism in cross‑departmental and leadership discussions.
Qualifications
Proven experience leading integrated marketing campaigns and working closely with sales teams to drive measurable outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to proactively plan and execute an annual marketing strategy rather than working reactively.
Skilled at coordinating internal teams and external contractors to deliver high‑quality creative, events, and proposals on time and on brand.
Deep understanding of brand management principles and the ability to ensure consistency across digital, print, and experiential touchpoints.
Comfort interpreting marketing data and connecting metrics to ROI and business growth.
Confident presenting to leadership, guiding creative direction, and ensuring brand alignment.
Self‑starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment balancing strategic priorities with hands‑on execution.
Education, Experience & Other Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
5–10 years of experience in marketing operations, program management, or business development support.
Proficiency in HubSpot (required) and experience with CRM integrations (HubSpot + Membrain preferred).
Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to connect marketing data to ROI and guide strategic decisions.
Background in the contract furniture or A&D industry, strongly preferred.
Salary will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level and competencies.
