Our goal is to bring the wine country experience into the heart of Nashville.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven

Marketing Manager

to lead strategic marketing initiatives for City Winery Nashville. This role is pivotal in driving brand visibility, increasing revenue across our core business pillars, Entertainment, Wine, Food, and Private Events, and building meaningful connections within the local market. The ideal candidate is both analytically and creatively minded, with strong marketing acumen and a proven ability to nurture relationships with media outlets, influencers, and community stakeholders.

You will develop and execute integrated marketing plans that amplify the City Winery brand, drive customer engagement, and strengthen our position as a beloved destination in Nashville’s vibrant cultural scene.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning & Execution

Develop comprehensive marketing strategies customized to Nashville’s unique audience and cultural landscape.

Build and execute multi-channel campaigns that support key business objectives such as ticket sales, restaurant bookings, retail wine sales, and private event inquiries.

Local Partnership Development

Cultivate strong relationships with local businesses, community organizations, tourism partners, and civic leaders.

Build and nurture partnerships that enhance venue awareness, drive cross-promotional opportunities, and foster community engagement.

Media & Public Relations

Serve as the primary point of contact for Nashville-based media outlets, including print, digital, TV, and radio.

Develop strategic PR initiatives and collaborate with our PR agency to build compelling story angles and secure meaningful coverage.

Manage media outreach and respond to inquiries to ensure positive and accurate representation of the City Winery brand.

Event & Programming Promotion

Strategize and execute marketing plans for live performances, tastings, seasonal menus, culinary events, and private event openings.

Maintain a robust local event calendar and develop targeted campaigns to maximize event attendance and brand visibility.

Influencer & Digital Engagement

Identify, engage, and manage influencer relationships to amplify the City Winery experience across social platforms.

Oversee social media content strategy and engagement specifically tailored to the Nashville market, in line with city-specific goals and trends.

Guest Experience & Review Management

Monitor, analyze, and respond to guest reviews on platforms such as Google, Yelp, and TripAdvisor.

Share insights with internal teams to improve guest experience and protect brand reputation.

Content Development

Produce compelling visual and written content for digital and print platforms, collaborating with design and programming teams on a very regular basis.

Support the private events and food & beverage team with promotional materials including brochures, menus, flyers, and promotional posters.

Local Market Insights & Innovation

Stay ahead of local market trends, consumer behavior patterns, and competitor activities.

Use insights to identify new opportunities for audience growth, guest engagement, and revenue expansion.

General Responsibilities

Act as the expert on City Winery Nashville’s offerings, mission, and brand DNA.

Work collaboratively across departments to achieve goals and objectives.

Ensure all marketing initiatives align with City Winery’s brand values and standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

3–5+ years of professional marketing experience, preferably in live entertainment, hospitality, or related industries.

Prior experience in live music marketing is a strong plus, especially with knowledge of the Nashville music scene and local cultural landscape.

Strong background in field marketing, brand partnerships, public relations, and social media strategy.

Proven experience in email marketing, including campaign creation, segmentation, and analytics.

Experience managing media ad buys, including negotiation and placement across digital, radio, print, or out-of-home channels.

Demonstrated success in developing and managing influencer campaigns and community partnerships.

Proficiency in social media platforms, digital analytics tools, and content creation best practices.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance short-term deadlines and long-term strategic goals.

Ability to create and capture engaging content—including photos and videos—for use across digital channels.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Positive attitude, sense of humor, and strong collaborative spirit.
