Role Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a creative, strategic, and community-oriented Marketing Administrator to lead our marketing and communications efforts. This role is vital in promoting the Coop’s mission, increasing engagement among members and shoppers, driving sales, and fostering strong community relationships. The ideal candidate is a storyteller with a passion for local food systems and cooperative values.
Qualifications
3+ years of marketing or communications experience, preferably in food retail, nonprofit, or cooperative environments
Excellent written and visual storytelling skills
Proficiency in digital tools including email platforms, social media, Canva/Adobe Suite, and CMS (WordPress preferred)
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to local food, sustainability, and cooperative values
Experience working in a cooperative or mission-driven organization
Familiarity with the Blue Hill Peninsula community
Photography and basic design/layout skills
Knowledge of local food systems, organic agriculture, or food justice movements
