Summary HII – Mission Technologies is seeking a Network Administrator for a high priority project that is part of their Space Protection and Response Solution Contract. The objective of the Space Protection and Response Solutions is to provide innovative technology solutions to ensure our Nation’s space mission capabilities in a multi‑domain, joint and coalition conflict.

What You Will Do

Install, configure, and troubleshoot WAN/LAN equipment including routers, switches, multiplexers, and VPNs

Manage internetworking protocols (IP, VLANs, VTP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, multicast) across Cisco, Juniper, and Brocade platforms

Perform packet‑level diagnostics using NetFlow, protocol analyzers, sniffers, and log analysis

Apply DoD STIGs to network devices and ensure compliance with security policies

Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds

Assist in network design, documentation, and implementation

Support cross‑domain connectivity and implement robust network security measures

Perform additional duties as assigned

What You Must Have

9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.

Experience in network operations and support within DoD or federal environments

Hands‑on experience with cross‑domain solutions and network security planning

Must have an Active DoD Top Secret clearance

Must have Security+, or equivalent IAT Level II certification

Preferred Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

CCNP Certification or equivalent

Physical Requirements Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements Software Engineer family.
