Job Overview:
The Senior Performance Media Strategist leads and evolves our paid social practice while supporting paid search and broader digital media campaigns. This role focuses on driving growth across platforms such as
Meta
(Facebook & Instagram),
TikTok ,
LinkedIn ,
Google Ads ,
Microsoft Ads , and additional vendor platforms, providing strategic campaigns, forecasting, and optimization recommendations in collaboration with Integrated Planning and Activation Strategy teams. The position also mentors junior strategists and strengthens our paid social capabilities across the organization.
Responsibilities
Strategic Campaign Management
Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid social campaigns across platforms such as
Meta ,
TikTok ,
LinkedIn , and emerging channels with secondary support for paid search.
Develop advanced audience targeting, segmentation, and creative testing strategies.
Leverage platform data and cross‑channel insights to recommend optimizations that go beyond the initial campaign scope.
Conduct competitive analysis, social trend forecasting, and platform research to identify growth opportunities.
Implement and refine A/B and multivariate testing for ad creatives, audience mixes, landing pages, and bidding strategies.
Continuously monitor and adjust campaigns to improve performance against key KPIs (CTR, ROAS, CPA, CVR, engagement, etc.).
Advanced Performance Analysis & Optimization
Analyze campaign performance, budget pacing, and audience insights using tools such as Google Analytics and Looker Studio.
Adjust bids, budgets, and targeting to maximize efficiency.
Troubleshoot conversion tracking discrepancies and ensure accurate measurement.
Stay ahead of platform updates and industry trends to maintain best‑in‑class execution.
Regularly audit accounts for efficiency opportunities and strategic growth areas.
Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Integration
Work closely with Integrated Planning, Activation Strategy, Analytics, and Account Management teams to ensure seamless execution.
Provide data‑backed recommendations that integrate into broader media strategies.
Develop client‑facing presentations and reports, clearly communicating insights and optimizations.
Mentorship & Thought Leadership
Serve as a resource and mentor for junior team members, guiding best practices.
Lead training sessions and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
Produce one piece of thought leadership per quarter for internal and external marketing.
Share industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies with internal teams and clients.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Provide mentorship and guidance to new team members, associates, and interns.
Qualifications
3–6 years of experience in performance marketing with a strong focus on paid social strategy and execution; paid search knowledge required.
Advanced expertise in
Meta Ads Manager ,
TikTok Ads ,
LinkedIn Ads , and other emerging social platforms; proficiency in
Google Ads
and
Microsoft Ads .
Demonstrated ability to manage large‑scale paid social budgets and multi‑platform campaigns that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Proficiency in industry‑standard tools (e.g., Google Tag Manager, social listening tools, SEMRush, Google Marketing Platform).
Strong analytical skills with hands‑on experience using Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and native platform reporting.
Ability to translate complex social campaign data into clear, actionable insights and client‑ready narratives.
Proven experience presenting strategy, performance, and recommendations directly to clients and senior stakeholders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams and clients.
