Retail/ Trade Marketing Coordinator (Beauty) – 24 Seven Talent
Hybrid Remote / On Site in NYC – 1 year contract, $30/hr, 40 hours/week
Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented Marketing Coordinator with strong project management skills and a passion for enhancing brand presence within retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage project timelines, coordinating across sales, marketing, visual merchandising, and external vendors to ensure timely and budget‑conscious delivery of trade marketing initiatives.
Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of retailer‑specific programs, emphasizing in‑store promotional strategies and retailer counter activations.
Oversee the creation and implementation of impactful visual merchandising displays, including product selection, staging, and factice management.
Manage purchase orders and logistics for store fixtures and point‑of‑sale materials produced by external vendors, ensuring prompt delivery and installation.
Track the effectiveness of visual merchandising and activation campaigns, analyze performance data, and provide actionable insights for improvement.
Coordinate in‑store video content updates, liaising with external agencies to manage briefs, purchase orders, and installation processes.
Support merchandising execution by maintaining accurate artwork and copy in management platforms, creating pre‑pack codes, and preparing associated briefs and orders.
Address custom shop requirements, including developing unique planograms and conducting tailored in‑store activations for specific retail partners.
Manage special projects within the trade marketing function to drive business objectives and enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline.
2‑3 years of experience in trade marketing, visual merchandising, or similar roles, preferably within the luxury or cosmetics sectors.
Exceptional project management capabilities, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and vendors.
Good understanding of retail operations and visual merchandising principles.
Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for strategic decision‑making.
Self‑motivated and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
