We are looking for a driven and curious Structural Design Technician to provide leadership and support our Built Environment team.
As a key member of our Advanced Manufacturing team, you’ll get to grow your skills and join our collaborative team providing our clients with award‑winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design‑build project delivery. You’ll work closely with clients and construction trade partners as you develop design concepts, create models from scratch, and coordinate designs to consider existing conditions and other disciplines. You’ll convey structural requirements to the construction team through traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models.
You’ll also have the chance to provide leadership for a small project with a team of designers, establishing project standards, procedures, training, developing your team, and building and maintaining team morale. The base salary range for this position is $61,100.00 to $84,000.00; however you will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Here’s what you’ll need:
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field
At least 1 year of Revit
At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience
Ideally, you’ll also have:
At least 2 years of Revit experience
Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures
Experience leading a team of Designers
Experience with healthcare/institutional/commercial buildings
Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam
