The Multimedia Specialist will play an important role in the production of creative content for Greenville University. The Multimedia Specialist will conceptualize and produce engaging graphic, photo, and video content that reflects the university's core values and strengthens its outreach, both internally and externally.

This role is responsible for creating multimedia content and assets for Greenville University. The Multimedia Specialist is a creative and detail-oriented member of the marketing team that thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong eye for graphic design, visual storytelling, photography and videography, and brand voice.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Production

In partnership with the Creative Services Manager, develop and produce multimedia content across a variety of platforms:

  • Videography and photography (both shooting and editing)
  • Audio productions and presentations
  • Graphic designs-both digital and for print
  • Animations, and motion-enhanced graphics
  • Internal screens and digital signage across campus
Ensure all multimedia content is high-quality and aligned with GU's strategic priorities.

Collaboration & Project Support
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing, Creative Services Manager, Content Manager, graphic designers, content writers, and other marketing team members to develop integrated projects.
  • In coordination with the Creative Services Manager, collaborate with Admissions, Advancement, Student Life, and Experience Institutes (CMC Nashville, Climb Global Learning) to support storytelling and campaign needs.
  • In partnership with the Creative Services Manager, assist with file organization, archives, and digital asset libraries.
  • Ensure all multimedia content supports Greenville University's Christ-centered mission and brand values.
  • Manage and mentor multimedia interns, providing direction and support.
Other Departmental Projects
  • Assist with other marketing projects as needed, including support for events, internal communications, and cross-campus initiatives that require additional support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, film/media production, digital media, communications, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in photography and videography, including shooting, lighting, and editing.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve).
  • Excellent visual storytelling and project management skills.
  • Basic understanding of audio production and motion graphics is a plus.
  • Familiarity with collaborating with student creatives and understanding of Christian liberal arts contexts is a plus-but enthusiasm for the mission is essential.
  • A portfolio of completed multimedia works.


Salary Band: $29,250-$88,000/ Annually. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions and department budget.
