Job Title: SEO Specialist (U.S. Market) Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid or Remote within the U.S.) Department: Integrated Marketing Group About the Role We’re looking for a data-driven and technically skilled SEO Specialist to lead our U.S. website optimization efforts. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy — from keyword research and site structure optimization to tag implementation and link-building — that drives high-quality organic traffic and measurable business growth. Key Responsibilities 1. Keyword Strategy & Research Conduct in-depth keyword analysis, including search volume, competition, and relevance to business objectives. Benchmark competitors’ SEO strategies and identify high-value keyword opportunities. Map and distribute keywords strategically across landing pages, category pages, and content hubs. Monitor keyword performance and ranking trends, providing actionable insights and forecasts. 2. Tagging & On-Page Optimization Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers (H1-H6), and alt text for maximum crawlability and CTR. Implement structured data and schema markup where applicable. Ensure all tags and elements reinforce each page’s topical relevance and improve search visibility. 3. Site Architecture & Technical SEO Work closely with web developers to maintain a site architecture that aligns with search engine best practices. Simplify site navigation and URL hierarchy to enhance crawl efficiency and user experience. Identify and fix crawl errors, indexing issues, and canonicalization problems through Google Search Console and other SEO tools. 4. Search Engine Indexing & Communication Submit new or updated pages to major search engines and track indexation status. Monitor site health, coverage, and backlinks to assess SEO performance over time Regularly audit site updates to ensure alignment with Google’s evolving algorithms. 5. Link Building & Authority Development Plan and execute ethical, high-quality link acquisition campaigns. Balance internal linking and outbound linking strategies to optimize authority flow. Prevent over-optimization by diversifying anchor text and link destinations. 6. Sitemap & Crawl Optimization Build and maintain XML and HTML sitemaps reflecting the full site structure. Ensure search engines can easily discover and index all relevant pages and sections. Coordinate with the dev team to automate sitemap updates upon content changes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field. 3+ years of hands‑on SEO experience in the U.S. market (in‑house or agency). Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar tools. Deep understanding of keyword research, on‑page SEO, technical SEO, and link‑building best practices. Working familiarity with HTML/CSS and CMS platforms (Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, etc.). Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Preferred Attributes Experience in eCommerce or consumer health / wellness categories a plus. Familiarity with local SEO and schema for U.S. retail or service businesses. Ability to translate technical findings into clear business recommendations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
