Technical Director

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The core responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to
Full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for assigned business units
Development and maintenance of operational business plans, including labor hours, production costs, cycle times, and program requirements
Contributing to business strategy development and supporting R&D initiatives for new and emerging products/services
Analyzing and preparing financial reports including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
Establishing and maintaining quality control standards, cost controls, and delivery timelines in line with customer requirements
Supporting the development of comprehensive process plans: personnel, materials, subcontractors, tooling, facilities, and equipment
Ensuring achievement of all cost, quality, and delivery targets
Reviewing operational reports and leading the resolution of issues to minimize costs and avoid delays
Performing key administrative tasks to support efficient operations, including compiling and analyzing production data
Defining team responsibilities and aligning organizational structure to meet business objectives
Leading, training, and ensuring compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements across assigned teams
Leadership Responsibilities
The Technical Director will lead the operations of the assigned region, overseeing all aspects of business performance. This role is responsible for setting direction, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Managing regional business operations with full accountability for performance
Providing strategic direction, coordination, and evaluation of teams and projects across the region
Leading recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of staff
Planning, assigning, and supervising work in line with business priorities
Conducting performance evaluations, recognizing achievements, and implementing disciplinary measures when necessary
Resolving conflicts and addressing employee concerns in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to meet all essential duties with a high degree of effectiveness.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.B.A., B.A., B.S.) in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
5–10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, technical services, or a related industry
Proven track record in team leadership, business operations, and process improvement
