UFIT Web Services has an opening for a Web Designer. We are seeking an applicant experienced with creating visually appealing web designs that adhere to ADA standards. Ability to use design tools such as Figma is a plus. Knowledge of industry web design standards is a must. The successful candidate will design and deliver accessible and engaging web interfaces. Key Responsibilities Design websites for our customers in UFIT supported web content management systems Collaborate with peers to design and implement user driven web accessible templates and interfaces for ease of use Experience using design tools such as Figma Strong customer service skills and self‑motivation a must. Knowledge of web accessibility standards and WCAG 2.1. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree; or an associate’s degree and two years of appropriate experience. Preferred Qualifications Firm understanding of digital content and web design for the internet and interactive platforms, HTML, CSS, and current software tools used to create superior designs Pays close attention to details Have strong customer service experience Firm understanding of web design tools Knowledgeable of web trends and direction Self starter A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or an associate’s degree and four years of appropriate experience Application Instructions Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
