Position Summary
The Communications and Content Manager is a creative and strategic leader responsible for shaping and sharing the story of Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. This role centers on executing a dynamic content strategy that communicates the College’s mission, academic excellence, and community impact to a wide range of external and internal audiences.
Responsibilities
- Execute a comprehensive content strategy that supports the college’s mission and strategic priorities.
- Write and edit feature stories, press releases, faculty, student, and alumni profiles, informational web content, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with academic departments, faculty, university partners, student groups, development and alumni relations, and central marketing and communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years professional experience in communications, content creation, or related field.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation and comprehensive communication practices.
- Experience working with business/industry, alumni engagement, and development initiatives.
