Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Senior UX/UI Designer/Games for a popular Entertainment Brand.

This role has the potential to play a pivotal role in shaping the UX and interface art for an exciting adventure game.

This is a remote/PST long‑term contract role.

Responsibilities

• Support UX and UI art on an adventure game currently in development
• Pitch, wireframe, and mock up our UX needs as well as contribute to the UI art for systems in the game.
• Collaborate with other designers and craft experts to develop engaging gameplay and systems; advocate for best practices in UI/UX for narrative games, acting as the subject matter expert on all things UX for our game.
• Collaborate across studio disciplines to explore, test, and evolve the game.

Requirements

• 5+ years working in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design for Games
• Experience working with IP and narrative game systems
• Must have experience with cloud platforms like Stadia, Luna or other non‑standard controller systems like AR/VR, theme parks or experimental interactive installation work.
• Preference for candidates who have working familiarity with Unity, Miro, Figma, Jira, Confluence, and experience in motion design and/or animation.
• Ability to work autonomously and independently while understanding a larger team ecosystem
• Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
