We’re seeking a Junior UX Researcher to join our client’s Sales Team and drive insights that shape intuitive, impactful customer experiences. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on understanding human behavior and transforming research findings into design and business strategy.
In this role, you’ll lead qualitative research initiatives, focusing on customer journey mapping, service blueprinting, and usability testing across web and digital touchpoints. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and marketing partners to uncover user needs, test concepts, and identify opportunities that improve the end-to-end customer journey.
This is a remote role operating in CST, prioritizing candidates in Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Tampa, FL; and Birmingham, AL.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute user research across the design and development lifecycle—from discovery to validation.
- Conduct qualitative research, including interviews, usability testing (moderated and unmoderated), and surveys.
- Leverage tools such as UserTesting.com and Qualtrics to gather actionable insights
- Create user flows, journey maps, and service blueprints to visualize pain points and opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate findings into clear recommendations that influence product strategy
- Present research findings to stakeholders through compelling stories and data-driven insights
- Perform comparative and competitive analyses to inform ongoing improvements to digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a UX Researcher or similar role
- Strong background in qualitative research methods and usability testing
- Hands‑on experience with UserTesting.com, Qualtrics, or similar tools
- Familiarity with Figma and Webex for collaboration and documentation
- Understanding of user‑centered design principles, journey mapping, and behavior analysis
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to non‑technical audiences
Nice to Have
- Experience evaluating voice interfaces or complex digital ecosystems
- Knowledge of quantitative research and data analytics
- Experience working with customer‑facing or sales‑focused products
Note
- This position is exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act’s timekeeping requirements and is not eligible for overtime pay.
- This candidate must be able to conduct usability testing for digital platforms, including websites and mobile apps, using the Usertesting.com tool.

- Pay:$45-50 per hour, based on experience – W2 only
Compensation for this position will be determined based on several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role; market labor costs; the candidate’s skills, education, training, credentials, and experience; and other employment conditions. Full‑time consultants are eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) contributions, along with any PTO, sick leave, or other benefits required by applicable state or local laws where you reside or work.
