Our client is a large Aerospace Industry Manufacturer.
We are looking for a Senior Web User Interface Developer (C++) to support our Advanced Technology Software Engineering Team. As a member of the Software Engineering department you’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, superconducting foundry engineers, and software engineers to make our technologies a reality. This position will serve on-site at the Advanced Technology Laboratory (ATL) in Linthicum, MD.
Responsibilities
- Design UI/UX to enable high user adoption of the final software product
- Collaborate with users to identify design improvements to reduce the engineering effort of our new application
- Work with the software engineering teams to plan/scope work to be non-interfering with fast-paced project milestones
Basic Qualifications for UI/UX Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience
- Working knowledge in one of the following languages: C++, Winforms
- Experience in developing UI/UX interfaces with legacy applications
- Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen.
Preferred Qualifications for UI/UX Engineer
- Experienced software developer who can support additional backend software development tasks in addition to UI/UX updates
- Experience developing WinForms applications and supporting complex legacy software suites
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
- Utilized the Atlassian software suite
- Experience working within an agile scrum framework
