Base Pay Range $110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
Overview The Marketing Specialist is a key team member within the Marketing Department. The Specialist plans and manages a range of marketing activities for the office/region that elevate the profile of the Firm in the market, create opportunities for lawyers to connect, and support business development objectives of the practices in the office/region.
Responsibilities
Develop, plan, lead, and execute firm-sponsored programs for current and prospective clients.
Serve as the marketing lead for events and sponsorships, creating event plans and managing critical dates and timelines.
Draft and manage internal and external communications related to the program, coordinating with the Digital Marketing team on postings to the firm’s website and social media channels.
Collaborate with Client Engagement team members and relevant practice/industry BD and Marketing liaisons on event logistics, including invitations, speaker planning, handouts, nametags, and follow‑up.
Support the office/region’s client entertainment activities, including management of the firm’s ticket assets and allocation system.
Coordinate production and distribution of legal updates sent to clients, formatting documents for print, web, and email.
Help prepare and manage the office marketing budget; track and analyze office/regional initiatives, evaluating ROI and recommending future efforts.
Support maintenance of and engagement with the firm’s CRM system, leveraging it to connect lawyers, clients, and contacts.
Identify, track, and secure relevant speaking and credentialing opportunities for lawyers in the office/region, creating supporting materials.
Assist in onboarding and integration of new lawyers and lateral partners.
Assist in development and execution of lawyer workshops on professional biographies and LinkedIn profiles.
Work on special projects as requested by the Senior Marketing Manager and office leadership.
Salary $110,000 - $130,000 if located in California.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Minimum of five (5) years of professional marketing, business development, or other relevant experience.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience planning and leading events in a professional services environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
Preferred
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing.
Advanced knowledge of marketing databases and technologies such as Vuture, SalesForce, and InterAction.
Solid understanding of the competitive landscape in the local/regional market.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Good judgment.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Able to work harmoniously and effectively with others.
Able to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion.
Able to work under pressure.
