About the Position This position will require a
detail-oriented
candidate to
support all major proposal development
activities across the
Federal Health IT
fields. The ideal candidate should have strong experience
drafting compliant
and
compelling
technical
and
management
narratives
while coordinating with various subject matter experts (SMEs), capture teams, and recruiting teams. In addition, they should have strong
proposal development experience
within the
GovCon
and
Health IT
fields.

Responsibilities
Review RFPs and understand proposal preparation requirements and expectations.
Develop, write, and edit proposals (technical, management, past performance, resumes, etc.) for federal RFPs and RFIs.
Coordinate with capture managers, recruiters, and SMEs to collect data and tailor appropriate responses.
Take direct responsibility for creating the technical response/technical volume for proposals.
Ensure compliance with solicitation requirements, templates, and style guides.
Participate in color team reviews and incorporate feedback.
Hold periodic bid/no bid reviews with the management team to effect alignment of resources and win rate success.
Update and maintain various boilerplate libraries and reusable content repositories.
Gather and document past performance and capability documentation for the proposal library.
Support graphics, formatting, and layout for final submission packages.
Track opportunities and assist with proposal schedules and deliverables.
Assists in developing competitive assessments, identifying product solutions, teaming partners, and prices-to-win.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
in English, Communications, Business, or related fields.
5+ years
of
Federal Proposal Writing
experience (Ideally within the
GovCon
or
Health IT
industries).
Must be detail-oriented with exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with
MS Office Suite
and
SharePoint .
Experience with proposal development tools (such as GovWin, Awarded AI, or similar tools).
Highly Preferred: APMP Foundation Certification.
