Tixel
Head of Partnerships
Born out of a passion for fairness and incredible experiences, Tixel is changing the game. We’re a rapidly growing ticket marketplace transforming live entertainment and making a real impact by giving fans fearless flexibility to discover and access events they love. Our mission? To become the world’s most trusted live event marketplace.
You: You live and breathe live music and couldn’t imagine working in any other industry.. You get how artists and their teams think, what matters to fans, and how to bridge the two. You’re excited by the chance to build something new, to shape how artists connect with their audiences, and to turn that passion into partnerships that make the industry better.
Mission: Tixel’s already proving what a fan-first model looks like. Early partnerships with artists like Gorillaz, Tame Impala and Faye Webster, have shown huge demand for a better secondary ticketing experience. We’re ready to harness that demand in the US, working directly with artists and their teams to protect fans, drive sales, and unlock data no one else can.
The Gig:
Develop a pipeline of artist partnership opportunities
for Tixel to be the official fan exchange and waitlist partner before the tour goes on sale.
Sign partnerships with touring artists
at or above large theatre capacity.
Build the go-to-market playbook , including commercial model, product offering, and positioning that helps unlock these partnerships at scale.
Ensure that partnerships are delivered smoothly
by coordinating with internal and external teams.
Represent Tixel
to the industry: whether it be attending conferences, curating events, speaking opportunities or other networking opportunities.
What You Bring:
5+ years of experience building and growing a business at the intersection of Music and Technology
A strong network of artists, their teams and music industry contacts
You thrive in fast-paced environments and can operate in some ambiguity.
Experience with setting, owning and delivering on OKR’s, including new partnership and revenue targets.
The ability to creatively structure partnerships and contract agreements
Builds credibility fast, represents confidently in major meetings and distils complex data into clear narratives for both internal and external audiences
Why you’ll love it here:
You'll be a part of a fast-paced, high-energy team aligned with the love of music and live events
We work hard, but we have fun. Otherwise, what's the point?
You will have true ownership over your area of responsibility, and your input will be pivotal to the company's success. In turn, you'll have a real impact on people and the live events industry
We’re committed to building a team that embraces diverse perspectives and creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.
We’re proud of the fact we are family-friendly and have a flexible work environment with our HQ based in Los Angeles and offices in London, and Melbourne.
You’ll get an extra personal day off every month, affectionately known as TDOs (Tixel Day Off)
We offer a monthly ticket allowance because live gigs are awesome and we want you testing the product as much as possible
We will invest in your development with access to a ‘level-up’ allowance and make it our priority to help you achieve your career objectives.
Give it a shot:
