About the Role As an Associate Interior Designer, you’ll contribute to every stage of the design process—from conceptual design through construction and FF&E installation. Members of our team have the opportunity to work across various segments including Mixed‑Use, Multifamily, Senior Housing, Hospitality, Workplace and Retail.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities Will Include, but Not Be Limited To:
Work in synergy with project team to produce design and construction drawings
Participate in research, conceptualizing, visioning, site visits, design, presentations, finish and FF&E selections
Partner with product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators to develop knowledge of finishes and furniture
Attend meetings with clients, vendors, consultants and contractors to establish design goals and facilitate implementation
Create specifications and work with furniture dealer(s) to ensure bids meet the client’s budget and timeline
Conduct site visits to review existing conditions, coordinate with contractors and assess design quality is achieved
Guide skill development of junior designers
Contribute to culture building office activities and initiatives
What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
Previous experience of at least 3 years working in the field
Must have minimum 1 year working experience in Revit and thorough working knowledge of AutoCAD, Google Sketch‑up and Photoshop, InDesign also required
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Interior Design program
NCIDQ certification is encouraged, but not required
Ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment, take initiative and be proactive
Willingness to be flexible and manage multiple responsibilities
Light travel and off‑hour attendance of industry events
Compensation Salary range: $62,000 – $82,000, commensurate with experience, skills, and certifications. Additionally, we offer a complete benefits package including medical/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, 401(k) savings plan, plus a generous holiday and paid time off schedule.
