Broadcast Media Coordinator
Cactus is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Broadcast Media Coordinator to join our Media team. The Media Coordinator will work collaboratively with our broadcast buying team to actively manage television and radio media buys — from assisting in placing buys to partnering with media sellers to actively steward buys while in market and executing accurate and timely billing of all media placements for our clients.
While this position does not require past media experience, it offers an opportunity to grow with an evolving media team while learning fundamental paid media, workflow management and financial stewardship skills.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with broadcast buyers across multiple markets to set up, update, and maintain media buys in Strata and Eleven—including vendor and estimate set up and buy detail QA.
Interface with media vendors and station reps to confirm orders, manage makegoods, and reconcile discrepancies.
Manage pre- and post-log delivery from vendors to ensure all details are accurately accounted for before and after media goes live.
Maintain accurate records of buy changes, approvals, and corresponding paperwork—including creation, delivery, and tracking of make‑good forms and media discrepancy forms.
Ensure all relevant invoices have been received, and track, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness prior to client billing.
Support timely and accurate weekly media billing cycles.
Collaborate with additional internal teams—including Operations, Media Strategy, and Project Management—to ensure seamless campaign execution.
Assist with general media operations and administrative support as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Familiarity with Strata and/or Eleven is a plus, but not required.
