Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Truss Design Manager role located in Eau Claire, WI. The Truss Design Manager will oversee the design and engineering of roof and floor trusses, ensuring projects meet industry standards and customer specifications. Daily responsibilities include leading a design team, reviewing project requirements, working directly with guests and contractors, and troubleshooting design challenges. The role involves managing timelines, optimizing designs for cost‑effectiveness, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Truss Design software, CAD, and other related design tools
Strong knowledge in engineering principles, structural analysis, and building codes
Experience in project management and leadership within the construction or manufacturing industry
Excellent problem‑solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders
Degree in Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
Previous experience in a truss design or structural component manufacturing role is an asset
