Position Overview The

Events Coordinator I

plays a key role in planning and executing strategic marketing and communications projects, as well as high-impact company events that strengthen

%%’s brand, advance business priorities, and build stronger connections with customers and communities.

Key Accountabilities

Support the development of long- and short-term project plans, setting clear milestones, deadlines, and resource allocations.

Use project management tools (e.g., Workfront) to track timelines, manage approvals, and ensure deliverables remain on schedule.

Facilitate communication among stakeholders and serve as the central coordinator when multiple departments are involved.

Monitor project progress and apply quality control standards to maintain consistency and brand integrity.

Partner with account managers to collect post-campaign data, analyze results, and report on performance.

Event Planning and Brand Engagement

Lead coordination, logistics, and communications for company events that strengthen brand reputation and community connection.

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to plan and execute event details, including budgets, timelines, venues, signage, and communications.

Ensure events align with business goals, company values, and brand standards.

Manage end-to-end event logistics, from invitations and volunteer coordination to post-event measurement and reporting.

Evaluate event outcomes and return on investment to inform future planning.

Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact event quality or brand reputation.

Brand and Strategy Alignment

Ensure proper use of

%%’s brand, trademarks, and logos

in all communications and event materials.

Support the execution of marketing plans to ensure tactics align with corporate strategy and customer engagement goals.

Collaborate with marketing and communications team members to enhance brand awareness and deliver cohesive, audience-focused experiences.

Qualifications

HSD / GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field preferred.

3-5 years of related professional experience in project coordination, marketing, or events management.

Proven experience coordinating event logistics, communications, and planning from concept through post-event reporting.

Strong project and program management skills (including scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination).

Experience with project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Asana, Smartsheet).

Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.

Collaborative, self-starter mindset with minimal supervision required.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse, cross-functional environment.

Location and Compensation Hybrid

- On-site an average of 2 days per week (Wednesday required; Tuesday and Wednesday preferred).

Pay:

$23 - $27/hour (W2).

Contract:

1-year with potential to extend or convert based on performance and budget.
