Position Summary
The Commercial Marketing Specialist plays a key role in the success of our listings and brand presence. This position is responsible for creating, managing, and executing high‑impact marketing materials and campaigns for commercial listings across retail, office, industrial, land, and multifamily properties.
Working closely with our agents, leadership team, and clients, the Marketing Specialist ensures each property is strategically positioned to attract qualified buyers and investors.
Responsibilities
Listing Marketing Development:
Design professional property marketing materials including proposals, flyers, offering memorandums, signage, and brochures using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Create custom listing presentations and marketing packages tailored to each property’s investment story, target audience, and submarket.
Write compelling and accurate property descriptions highlighting key selling points, location advantages, and financial details.
Marketing Coordination & Execution:
Manage the end‑to‑end marketing process for all new listings—from launch to closing.
Coordinate photography, drone shoots, and video marketing.
Oversee listing placement and updates across multiple CRE platforms (CoStar, LoopNet, CREXi, MLS, and M&D website).
Create and send branded email campaigns, property announcements, and social media spotlights to promote listings and new closings.
Work directly with brokers, clients, and leadership to develop strategic marketing plans that align with M&D’s brand standards and growth goals.
Attend weekly commercial team and marketing meetings to collaborate on new strategies, performance updates, and upcoming listings.
Support special projects, company events, and investor marketing initiatives as needed.
Brand & Process Optimization:
Maintain consistent branding across all collateral and platforms.
Contribute to improving marketing systems, templates, and processes for efficiency and scalability.
Stay current on CRE marketing trends, digital tools, and technology to keep M&D CRE’s marketing at the forefront of the industry.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Real Estate, or related field (preferred).
1+ years of marketing experience
within the commercial real estate industry
(preferred).
Proficiency in
Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Strong command of
Microsoft Office Suite
(PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with
commercial listing platforms
(LoopNet, CoStar, CREXi, MLS) (preferred).
Strong organizational and project‑management skills with ability to manage multiple listings and deadlines simultaneously.
High level of professionalism and communication skills when interacting with clients and agents.
