Job Description This role will be based in San Francisco, Chicago or New York City. At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

The Online Sales Organization (OSO) of LMS empowers organizations to reach, engage and convert their professional audience at scale. Within OSO, our New & Emerging Business team works with early‑stage startups and other high‑potential LMS customers, helping them achieve their growth objectives by utilizing best‑in‑class products and services.
Responsibilities
Build relationships with clients and develop a deep understanding of their business and objectives to provide best‑in‑class customer engagement.
Proactively analyze and optimize customers’ advertising campaigns and marketing programs to make strategic recommendations to customers and ensure client objectives are met.
Provide recommendations and training on targeting, implementation, optimization, and reporting.
Support customer education, including a best‑in‑class onboarding experience and ad‑hoc education needs.
Stabilize performance and grow revenue from new advertisers via proactive optimizations and upsells.
Leverage technology to drive performance‑oriented marketing solutions.
Advise on creative and content development, leveraging marketing expertise to maximize performance and delivery.
Work effectively with various cross‑functional partners in sales, marketing, finance, technical support, product, product marketing and insights to ensure customer success, troubleshoot campaigns and ensure error‑free execution.
Represent the voice of the customer through collaboration with product teams to influence campaign management tools and ensure our customer needs are met.
Co‑develop a strategic plan for your book of business with your Account Executive.
Use data and insights to highlight the value of advertising, demonstrate ROI, and make recommendations for optimizations and additional investment.
Inspire continued innovation by regularly sharing ideas and best practices with peers and manager.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in advertising sales, media buying and planning, or relevant consulting work.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of auction‑based or programmatic campaign management and optimization experience (e.g., Social, Google Adwords, ad exchange/trading desks).
Experience in advertising sales and media account management.
Familiarity with startups go‑to‑market challenges and growth KPIs.
Demonstrated analytical background and experience with statistical analysis, return on investment modeling, and advertising / media analytics.
Ability to think strategically with a proven track record of providing consultative and data‑driven solutions.
Demonstrated understanding of advertising technology and marketing automation.
Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision.
Ability to work independently and collaborate cross‑functionally.
Compensation The pay range for this role is $145,000 to $222,000 (On Target Earnings). Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
