The position requires an office presence four days a week and may be based in our NYC or Los Angeles office.
Disney Entertainment (DE) is the global portfolio of media and content business that includes streaming (Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, Star+, and Disney+ Hotstar). Within DE, DTC Finance manages the Disney Streaming P&L. DE DTC Marketing Finance handles the global Disney Streaming Marketing budget.

Marketing Measurement
and
Connecting the Dots , integrating KPI monitoring and budgeting into marketing strategy.
General Responsibilities
Engage with clients and stakeholders to provide business consultation and financial guidance.
Apply deep knowledge of supported businesses to drive FP&A consulting work.
Create and present insightful financial analysis for senior Finance management.
Oversee commentary and cause‑of‑change explanations for management reports.
Partner with functional leaders to identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements.
Lead, develop, and motivate a team of Finance professionals.
Strategic Finance Duties
Conduct ad‑hoc analysis to inform the Annual Operating Plan.
Produce the master Long‑Range Plan financial model for scenario analysis.
On a recurring basis, generate Forecast Executive Updates, DTC Marketing Fact Pack, and Marketing KPIs Workbook.
Conduct after‑action reviews of Disney Streaming promotional offers, evaluating brand marketing investment and performance marketing spend.
Partner with Marketing Analytics to advise on MMM attribution models and historical media spend.
Maintain centralized brand campaign timing and budgets across DTC platforms.
Analyze incremental performance marketing budget requests and device and fixed placement budgets for savings opportunities.
Operational and Planning Responsibilities
Manage global marketing budgets across multiple levels of granularity.
Serve as the Center of Excellence (COE) finance support for centralized communication.
Lead Long‑Range Planning, facilitating bottoms‑up planning with Marketing stakeholders.
Develop annual operating plans.
Act as the central point of contact for DET Marketing teams, standardizing planning and budgeting metrics.
LTV Management (DTC Finance)
Collaborate with Data Science to develop 140+ product‑level LTVs covering every DTC territory and platform.
Drive alignment with stakeholders to verify and pressure test LTV assumptions.
Socialize the subscriber business health, identifying key business drivers for change.
Partner with Data Analytics, Growth Marketing, Bundle Marketing, Product Marketing, and Business Operations to diagnose future business decisions influenced by LTV findings.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or economics; MS/MBA is a plus.
At least 10 years of progressive finance leadership, preferably in a direct‑to‑consumer business.
Experience leading and developing a finance talent team.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with solid business and financial acumen.
Excellent partner and consultative approach with senior stakeholders.
Proactive communication style and ability to translate financial information to diverse audiences.
Flexibility and agility to anticipate change and respond to client needs.
Compensation Pay ranges: Glendale & Santa Monica, CA – $184,800 to $225,800 per year; NYC – $193,600 to $236,600 per year.
