Overview
The Lifecycle Marketing Manager drives the strategy, content, and execution of fan engagement campaigns across Diamond Baseball Holdings’ (DBH) portfolio of Minor League Baseball clubs. This role blends creative storytelling with technical expertise—owning the campaign calendar, audience strategy, and in-platform builds within Iterable and other lifecycle marketing tools. Working closely with DBH’s central marketing operations team and club marketers, the Lifecycle Marketing Manager ensures that every message sent strengthens the fan relationship and contributes to measurable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute multi-channel lifecycle marketing strategies that engage, convert, and retain fans across email, SMS, and in-app channels.
Partner with the Senior Manager of Marketing Operations to design and deploy automated journeys, segmentation logic, and personalization tactics in Iterable.
Build, test, and optimize campaign templates, journeys, and triggers that support key fan touchpoints—from first ticket purchase to season renewal.
Collaborate with club marketing teams to align messaging and creative with national campaigns while maintaining each club’s local voice and brand.
Manage campaign calendars, performance reporting, and ongoing optimization of fan engagement programs.
Partner with the Marketing Data Engineer to ensure segmentation and campaign analytics are accurate, actionable, and properly visualized.
Contribute to audience strategy, ensuring data hygiene, tagging, and governance best practices are maintained across all club instances.
Provide creative and strategic guidance on copy, design, and messaging cadence to drive engagement and conversion.
Support cross-channel coordination with paid media, web, and social efforts to ensure fans receive cohesive experiences.
Qualifications
4–6 years in lifecycle or digital marketing, preferably within sports, entertainment, or consumer-facing industries.
Hands‑on experience building campaigns and automations in Iterable (or similar platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, or Klaviyo).
Strong understanding of segmentation, A/B testing, and campaign performance optimization.
Exceptional writing and content development skills with a keen eye for audience tone and brand consistency.
Comfort working in both strategic and executional capacities—balancing planning, copywriting, and in-platform work.
Collaborative and adaptable, with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating exceptional fan experiences.
