Design Coordinator - Ohio, USA (12‑Month Contract)
We are looking for a Design Coordinator to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new‑build greenfield project based in Ohio. This large‑scale capital project is investing more than $1 bn.
What You’ll Do
Serve as liaison between design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure scope alignment, schedule accuracy, and delivery readiness.
Review construction schedule to identify potential design or procurement gaps that could delay field activities.
Work with EPCM and design teams to prioritize design deliverables and ensure drawings/specifications are issued to support construction sequencing.
Validate that RFPs accurately represent scope, quantities, and deliverables consistent with design intent and site execution needs.
Coordinate responses to field queries (RFIs, design clarifications, change requests) and facilitate timely closure.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline preferred.
Extensive experience on large‑scale CAPEX projects (>$500M) within pharmaceutical or biotech environments.
Strong understanding of design and construction workflows, procurement sequencing, and engineering documentation.
Previous EPCM or Owner’s Representative experience preferred.
