We are looking for a driven and curious Structural Design Technician to provide leadership and support our Built Environment team.
As a key member of our Advanced Manufacturing team, you’ll grow your skills and join a collaborative team providing award‑winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management and design‑build project delivery. You’ll work closely with clients and construction trade partners, developing design concepts, creating models from scratch, coordinating designs to consider existing conditions and other disciplines, and conveying structural requirements to the construction team through traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models. You’ll also have the chance to lead a small project with a team of designers, establishing project standards, procedures, training, developing your team, and building and maintaining team morale. Skills & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field
At least 1 year of Revit
At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience
Ideally, you’ll also have:
At least 2 years of Revit experience
Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures
Experience leading a team of designers
Experience with healthcare/institutional/commercial buildings
Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam
