How You Will Make History Here

Play a critical role in managing and optimizing marketing budgets across Meals & Beverages (M&B) and Snacks divisions.

Ensure financial discipline, operational efficiency, and cross‑functional alignment in budget execution, governance, and reporting.

Drive continuous improvement in processes and systems to enhance marketing operations.

What You Will Do

Budget Management & Marketing Operations

Oversee marketing budgets for M&B and Snacks, ensuring accurate tracking, reconciliation, and alignment with forecasts and actuals.

Maintain budget entries and process POs in Ariba, ensuring compliance with internal controls and vendor requirements.

Partner with Finance and Operations Analysts to develop real‑time dashboards and support period‑end close processes (including accruals and documentation).

Process & Workflow Ownership

Act as SME for budget management systems; lead process documentation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Design and manage approval frameworks and escalation paths for budget‑related activities.

Ensure compliance with Delegation of Spend Authority (DOSA) and financial governance protocols.

Create and maintain standardized workflows and “how‑to” guides for budget tracking and spend execution.

Maintain audit‑ready documentation for onboarding, training, and operational consistency.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Serve as a connector across Category Teams, Finance, Procurement, and Consumer Experience for seamless budget execution.

Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks to improve efficiency and alignment.

Drive accountability by facilitating timely approvals and adherence to financial timelines.

Team Leadership

Lead and develop a direct report, fostering collaboration and results‑driven performance.

Set clear expectations and provide continuous coaching and development opportunities.

Procurement and Consumer Experience teams.

Direct report and cross‑functional stakeholders.

What You Bring To The Table (Must Have)

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, operations, or accounting/finance.

Expertise in financial management, budget tracking tools (MMM, Ariba), and integrated marketing processes.

Proven ability to lead marketing and financial projects with cross‑functional teams.

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Detail‑oriented with strong governance and compliance focus.

Nice to Have

MBA or advanced degree.

Passion for food and beverage trends and understanding of consumer preferences in the CPG space.

Experience driving process improvements and implementing new financial systems or workflows.

Compensation And Benefits The target base salary range for this full‑time, salaried position is $116,800 – $167,900. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401(k), and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
