Job Description
We are looking to hire a Social Media Manager for our Smyrna location!
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a favorable brand image. Oversee all social media accounts for the company's brands and monitor how the brands are engaging with the audience.
- Liaison with the key stakeholders to coordinate marketing strategies that align with communication objectives across various channels and audiences.
- Develop an enterprise-wide editorial calendar, collaborating with Channel and Product Marketing teams to identify individualized content needs that align with approved communication plans.
- Optimize usage of existing content for campaigns and engagement initiatives for owned and paid media across our customer experience journey.
- Collaborate with internal Creative Services team to develop assets to be executed.
- Oversee the creation of "shareable" content, distributing content on the appropriate platforms and measuring the results of marketing activity.
- Develop and execute an influencer marketing strategy - research and identify potential partners, build relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders, and develop "story telling" ideas and creative briefs for content creation
- Identify opportunities for content testing and measurement, partnering with eBusiness on testing and learning methodologies.
- Keeps abreast of emerging trends, technologies and marketing tactics.
- Manage budget, choose what to boost and provide analytics back to the company.
- Ability to learn business and products.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 1-4 years of experience in social media, content creation and management, social marketing, community management, social listening, media planning, public relations
- B2B, B2C or Corporate marketing experience
- Storytelling skills; strong writing skills; excellent presentation and communication skills
- Immersed in social media trends
- Enjoy working in an entrepreneurial, fairly unstructured, environment, where you have a great deal of influence to set direction, strategy, and build structure and process.
- Have effective project management skills, and a desire for continuous process improvement & discipline.
- Have an ability to lead others by influence and develop strong relationships across the organization (sales, marketing, functional partners).
- Have critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills balanced with vision, creativity, and resourcefulness.
- Have an ability to listen and synthesize ideas from others.
- Have a highly collaborative working style.
