Position Summary:
The Marketing & Communications Manager leads the development and execution of internal and external communications, brand initiatives, and creative strategies that align with the company’s goals. This role bridges leadership and hands-on creation, overseeing messaging, media, brand integrity, and digital and print collateral. The Manager directly produces high-impact visual content.
Responsibilities:
Comply with (and actively promote) all Safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses to ensure adherence to our Number One Core Value – Safety, first in everything we do.
Develop, manage, and optimize multi-channel marketing and internal communications strategies. Collaborate with executive leadership to align campaigns with corporate priorities.
Protect and evolve the TMC brand voice and visual identity across all media.
Lead content strategic planning across print, web, internal platforms, and social media.
Collaborate with internal departments to brainstorm and distribute Beekeeper communications, newsletters, department-specific campaigns, print materials, event materials, etc.
Maintain and evolve communication channels via Beekeeper, SharePoint sites & Middlesex Connect
Refine internal written content for tone, clarity, and alignment.
Produce, edit, and design all photography, videography, and graphic design for internal and external communications.
(Beekeeper, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, event materials, newsletters, presentations, and annual corporate materials, IT assets, etc.).
Optimize and organize media and graphics for record-keeping and distribution.
Oversee social media strategy and engagement across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
Monitor analytics and adjust content strategies accordingly.
Coordinate with web developers to maintain and update website content.
Write and optimize content with SEO best practices, review web performance data and produce regular analytic reports.
Update and optimize all images based on relevancy and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Design, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in marketing, creative direction, or communication roles.
Proven experience in Adobe Creative Suite, photography, video production, graphic design, and content strategy. Experience in using DSLRs and mirrorless cameras.
Strong project management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
Strong experience in content writing for internal and external audiences.
Proven knowledge of website CMS (WordPress), SEO, and performance reporting tools.
B2B & B2C communications and marketing experience.
Proven experience working in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and third-party scheduling platforms.
