Role Description

This is a freelance Licensed Court Reporter role responsible for creating accurate transcripts of court proceedings, depositions, and legal testimonies. Duties include attending court sessions and depositions, recording spoken words verbatim, preparing certified transcripts, and adhering to all ethical and legal requirements. This is a hybrid role based in Washington state with the flexibility to work from home for certain assignments.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Court Reporting and Transcription techniques
• Experience documenting Court Proceedings and legal Testimonies accurately
• Ability to operate stenographic equipment and associated software
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of legal terminology and processes is highly advantageous
• Current Washington state court reporting license (or ability to obtain one)
