They are seeking a
Regional Marketing Manager (RMM)
to support the growth of a newly introduced targeted therapy within gastrointestinal oncology. This individual will work closely with thought leaders and clinical experts to strengthen awareness, build advocacy, and help shape strategic plans within the region. The role reports to the Director of Key Customer Marketing.
Role Overview This field-oriented position centers on building productive, long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across a defined territory and specific cancer indications. The RMM will gather and interpret market insights, support product education efforts, and cultivate expert advocacy. Frequent in-person engagement is essential, including participation in major medical meetings and regional scientific events.
The RMM will also be a key contributor to the development and execution of the organization’s speaker programs and will collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Compliance, and Legal.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and strengthen partnerships with regional KOLs and other influential stakeholders
Lead initiatives that enhance expert engagement, including insights gathering, speaker selection, content development, and program execution
Build deep understanding of the gastrointestinal cancer landscape, including diagnostic trends, treatment pathways, and regional market dynamics
Inform and implement strategic and tactical regional plans aligned with broader brand objectives
Represent the company at national and regional oncology meetings
Support advisory boards and other insight-generation activities
Contribute to peer-to-peer educational programs, from planning through evaluation
Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal standards
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum
5 years
of commercial experience in the biopharmaceutical sector (e.g., KOL engagement, marketing, sales, customer strategy, or related roles)
At least
3 years
of oncology experience
Demonstrated success in KOL-facing roles
Ability to travel
40–50%
Strong preference for candidates with experience in GI oncology, biomarker testing, or diagnostic pathways
Product launch experience is a plus
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong presentation skills
Proven strategic thinking, sound judgment, and project management capabilities
Education
Bachelor’s degree required (science-related fields advantageous)
Advanced degree preferred
Compensation For candidates based in the United States, the base salary range for this position is
$160,000–$240,000 , aligned with competitive and equitable compensation practices.
