Summary of Responsibilities Job Summary: The Senior Manager of Enterprise Communications leads the strategic development, execution, and continuous improvement of Elbit America’s internal and external communications, championing the value of enterprise communications across the organization. This role builds strong partnerships with executive leadership and key stakeholders, delivering impactful messaging through diverse channels while ensuring alignment with corporate brand standards. The position oversees crisis communications, content creation, data‑driven strategy, and performance measurement, driving engagement and business results. As a trusted advisor and team leader, the Senior Manager mentors high‑performing communications professionals, manages a budget up to $1 million, and collaborates across departments to support integrated marketing, HR, and business initiatives—all while upholding Elbit America’s brand identity and supporting enterprise‑wide achievements.
Responsibilities and Tasks (listed in bullet format) in order of priority to be successful
Leads strategic internal and external communications. Develops and executes integrated communication plans that align with company objectives. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to ensure messaging consistency and leverages multiple channels (intranet, emails, press releases, digital platforms) to reach diverse audiences.
Builds executive partnerships. Works closely with senior leadership to craft and amplify executive messaging. Provides media training, speechwriting, and supports leaders during public engagements, ensuring their communications reflect organizational values and strategic priorities.
Manages crisis and content. Develops crisis communication protocols, leads response teams during incidents, and ensures timely, accurate dissemination of information. Oversees content creation for campaigns, announcements, and maintains editorial calendars to support proactive and reactive communications.
Measures impact. Implements metrics and analytics tools to evaluate communication effectiveness (e.g., employee engagement surveys, media monitoring, sentiment analysis). Regularly reviews KPIs and adjusts strategies to maximize reach and influence.
Mentors teams. Coaches direct reports and communications staff, providing feedback and development opportunities. Encourages a collaborative culture, supports professional growth, and aligns team goals with broader business objectives.
Oversees a $1M budget. Manages budgeting and resource allocation for communications projects and campaigns. Negotiates with vendors, ensures cost‑effectiveness, and monitors expenditures to stay within financial targets.
Ensures brand consistency and supports organizational goals. Maintains brand standards across all communications, ensuring visual and verbal identity is consistent. Aligns messaging with company mission, values, and strategic initiatives, supporting reputation management and stakeholder engagement.
Education, Experience/Knowledge & License/Certification
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related functions, with at least 2-3 years in a management or leadership role.
Experience partnering with executive leadership and handling communications for complex, high‑profile organizations.
Proven track record managing large‑scale communication initiatives, content strategy, and crisis communication.
Skills and Abilities
Expertise in developing and executing integrated communication strategies across multiple channels (digital, print, social media, internal platforms).
Advanced writing, editing, and messaging skills with ability to tailor communications for diverse audiences.
Proficiency in media relations, including acting as spokesperson and managing press inquiries.
Familiarity with communications analytics tools and methodologies to measure campaign impact.
Strong project management and budgeting capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high‑performing teams.
Strong stakeholder management, collaborating across functions (HR, Marketing, Legal, IT).
Strategic thinking with ability to translate business objectives into effective communications.
Excellent judgment, especially under pressure or in crisis scenarios.
