POSITION TITLE: Content Marketing Specialist
LOCATION: This is a full-time, hybrid position based at our Houston office located at 13101 Northwest Freeway.
PAY RANGE: $28-38/hr Based on Experience

SUMMARY: The Content Marketing Specialist will report directly to the Digital Marketing Director and serve as a contributor in driving Lexitas' digital presence through long-form content creation and SEO- driven initiatives. This role requires advanced knowledge in marketing communication, SEO best practices implementing, writing, managing and creating high quality, long-form content for the company's social media, email communications, website, and other platforms and areas. The position requires research on industry-specific content to enhance Lexitas website's visibility and organic traffic in search engine results through keyword research and strategy.

Essential Functions:
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify valuable industry search terms and trends
- Write industry-specific articles and thought leadership pieces optimized for SEO
- Writes, edits, and produces various types of content, including blog posts, graphics, articles, social media updates, website copy, email marketing campaigns, paid media campaigns, and video scripts
- Track and analyze content performance metrics to identify what's working and what needs improvement
- Supports the designs, posts, and maintenance of our social media presence
- Implement email marketing campaigns
- Provide internal reports on a regular basis
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Ability to align content with business goals.
- Ability to interpret data.

- Ability to maintain confidential and ethical integrity.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to pay attention to details, efficient and highly organized.
- General computer skills (Outlook, Word, Acrobat, Internet Explorer, Windows)
- Flexible schedule and available to work occasional overtime as required.
- Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated and detailed oriented.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing and SEO.
- Ability to work under pressure and have business acumen.
- Ability to multitask, problem solving, and analyze.
- Works well independently and with other department members.
- Ability to think strategically and focus on the customer to meet goals and expectations.
- 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, SEO or digital strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or business-related field.
- Solid understanding of standard SEO practices, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and project management skills
- Understanding of how to optimize content for search engines
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva)
- Knowledge of Pardot, including email campaigns, audience segmentation, and email template creation
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and analytics tools
- Solid knowledge of marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Sprout)
- Working knowledge of HTML
- Knowledge of AI tools preferred
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
