General Description
The Houston Rockets are seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Digital Content Coordinator to support the management and maintenance of content across the team’s digital platforms, including Rockets.com, ToyotaCenter.com, and the Houston Rockets mobile app.
The Digital Content Coordinator will ensure that all online materials including ticketing pages, promotions, schedules, and featured team content are accurate, engaging, and aligned with organizational brand standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with a keen eye for design and usability, with experience in using content management systems, a working knowledge of HTML, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal departments, including Marketing, Ticketing, Communications, and Game Operations, to execute digital content initiatives.
- Maintain and update content across Rockets.com, the Houston Rockets mobile app, and ToyotaCenter.com.
- Monitor website and mobile app performance and user engagement metrics; identify opportunities to improve content flow and fan engagement.
- Support the creation and placement of featured team content, ticket and retail initiatives, promotional offers, schedules and multimedia assets on digital platforms.
- Coordinate updates to key landing pages, ensuring an optimal user experience across desktop and mobile.
- Assist in managing digital assets (images, graphics, and video) for use across websites and the app.
- Utilize content management systems (CMS) to create, edit, and organize web and app content.
- Apply working knowledge of HTML to format and enhance page layouts and digital elements.
- Repurpose and optimize digital graphics and other assets using Adobe Creative Suite, in alignment with Rockets brand guidelines.
- Crosstrain across other digital marketing functions (e.g. email marketing, paid social advertising) to provide organizational depth and promote career development.
- Support the execution of digital campaigns, event launches, and special promotions.
- Monitor content across all platforms for accuracy, functionality, and fan experience.
- Maintain compliance with organizational standards for brand voice, tone, and design.
- Assist in additional projects and initiatives as assigned within the Digital & Performance Marketing departments.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in digital content management or a related field.
- Working knowledge of HTML and experience with content management systems (CMS).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.) a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong work ethic and a passion for sports and entertainment by delivering exceptional fan experiences.
- Self‑starter who is extremely well organized with the ability to multi‑task effectively across multiple disciplines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required for games and events.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
