Position Overview

We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our video production team. In this role, you'll work collaboratively with our production team to edit engaging short-form videos for our social media channels. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop, and should have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Edit video footage to create engaging, short-form videos for social media platforms
• Work with the creative team to understand project scope and objectives
• Apply creative editing techniques, including but not limited to cutting, audio adjustments, color correction, motion graphics, etc.
• Implement text overlays and lower-thirds to supplement video content
• Dedication to learning and keep up-to-date with trends in editing, graphic design, and video production
• Social media management: schedule and post videos
• Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop
• Basic understanding of motion graphics (lower thirds, transitions, etc.)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work well with a team
• Willingness to be flexible and adapt to change
• Thorough attention to detail
• Basic understanding of audio and lighting concepts
• Organized and deadline-oriented
• Professional communication skills
• Experience with Canva and a basic understanding of graphic design
• Knowledge of media production and communication
