Locations: New York & Newark, New Jersey

Event Dates: November 19, 2025 (NJ), November 22, 2025 (NJ), and additional event-specific dates in NY & NJ

Compensation: $250 per event (flat rate)

Deliverable Due: 7 days after each event

Job Description

We are seeking several dynamic and experienced Multimedia Reporting Journalists to cover multiple live events across New York and New Jersey. Selected journalists will be responsible for capturing the essence of each event and producing polished, 2‑minute reporter‑style video packages.

Responsibilities

• Shoot high‑quality video footage of assigned events, including interviews and b‑roll.
• Conduct interviews with key participants, organizers, or attendees.
• Record voiceover narration to support the storytelling.
• Edit all footage into cohesive and engaging 2‑minute packages suitable for digital and broadcast platforms.
• Meet delivery deadlines for each assigned event.

Requirements

• Experience in multimedia journalism or video reporting.
• Proficiency with camera equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Strong storytelling and editorial skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations and events.
• Reliable transportation to event locations in NY & NJ.
• Flexibility to work event‑specific dates and times.

Event Details

Specific call times, locations, and event details will be provided upon assignment. Journalists may be assigned to one or multiple events based on availability and project needs.
