CLINIQUE ULTA - Beauty Advisor/Artist (Freelancer) – Newport News, VA
As a highly skilled freelance sales associate, you will provide makeup application, skincare advice, hair, or fragrance consultations, creating a welcoming, personalized in‑store experience that educates and delights customers.
You will work as part of a high‑performing team, shaping in‑store events and maintaining visual merchandising standards to differentiate the store from competitors.
We welcome a dynamic self‑starter eager to grow in a prestige beauty leader. Certification in makeup artistry and prior retail makeup experience are desirable, but we also consider beginner‑level applicants. Expertise in fragrance, skincare, and hair consultation is valued and we offer training to develop these skills.
Qualifications
- Preferred: retail experience; open to amateur‑level applicants with creative and technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, personalized customer service.
- Availability for retail hours including days, nights, weekends, special events in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with retail point‑of‑sale software.
- Proof of right to live and work in the U.S. required if invited for interview.
