This role is ideal for a skilled freelance video producer with strong animation abilities and fluency in French, tasked with producing a compelling promotional film for the 'Rising Star Gabon 2026' initiative. The project centers on creating a 1–2 minute video to open an event celebrating 300 women leaders and entrepreneurs from Gabon.
All voice recordings, logos, and texts will be provided. The editor will be responsible for sourcing and licensing B‑Roll, stock images, and music, then integrating and synchronizing these elements with the provided voice recordings, logos, and texts. Deliverables include a Full HD or 4K master file (MP4), an optional subtitled version, and project source files if possible. The final delivery deadline is December 5, 2025; a draft must be submitted a few days earlier for review.
Responsibilities
- Produce a 1–2 minute promotional film blending hand‑drawn animation and B‑Roll footage
- Source and license relevant B‑Roll, stock images, and music
- Integrate and synchronize provided voice recordings, logos, and texts
- Perform all editing, color correction, and light sound design
- Ensure smooth transitions and warm, professional color grading
- Deliver a Full HD or 4K master file (MP4), optional subtitled version, and project source files if possible
- Meet all project deadlines, including draft and final delivery
Skills And Requirements
- Proven experience in professional video editing and simple animation
- Fluency in French (spoken and written)
- Proficiency with editing suites such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
- Strong sense of visual storytelling and project aesthetics
- Ability to source and license B‑Roll, stock images, and music
- Experience integrating voiceovers and synchronizing audio
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail in color grading, transitions, and overall polish
- Experience working on projects for NGOs or women’s initiatives is a plus
