We specialize in providing a broad range of information technology and related services to both government and commercial customers. Ellumen is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to support an upcoming Training Modernization Initiative. The Instructional Designer will help develop innovative, high-impact learning programs that bridge performance gaps and foster continuous improvement. This person will design and deliver scalable, accessible, and measurable training across technical and operational functions. Position Summary

The Instructional Designers will create engaging training content for a variety of delivery modes-including instructor-led, computer-based, and blended learning. They will work closely with SMEs and project teams to ensure learning solutions meet adult learning and accessibility standards. Major Duties and Responsibilities

Design and develop engaging learning content, materials, and multimedia assets. Apply instructional design models and adult learning theory to ensure effectiveness. Partner with SMEs to translate technical concepts into learner-friendly materials. Conduct QA reviews to ensure consistency, accuracy, and accessibility. Manage timelines and deliverables in alignment with project milestones. Collect and integrate learner feedback to support program improvement. Minimum Qualifications

US Citizen with ability to obtain clearance (Active clearance preferred) Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field 3+ years of experience designing and developing instructional content Familiarity with ADDIE methodology and adult learning principles Experience with Adobe Captivate and InDesign Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards Experience developing eLearning and ILT materials Preferred Qualifications

PMP or equivalent certification Experience developing training for transit or technical environments
