About This Role The Senior Graphic Designer supports the development and execution of visual communications that strengthen the Consertus brand, enhance client engagement, and advance strategic business goals. As a key member of the Brand & Communications team, this role produces high-quality, on-brand visual assets for marketing, corporate communications, digital platforms, internal initiatives, and thought leadership, helping position Consertus as a leader in the AEC industry.
Key Responsibilities Brand & Visual Design
Create high-quality graphic design assets that align with brand standards, including brochures, reports, infographics, diagrams, presentations, and environmental graphics.
Evolve and maintain the firm’s visual identity system, ensuring brand consistency across all materials and channels.
Produce premium visuals that support a fast-paced, high-performing corporate marketing and communications team.
Translate complex technical and engineering concepts into clear, compelling visuals.
Marketing & Communications Support
Design graphics and visual assets for campaigns, digital and print collateral, social media, conferences and events, and corporate storytelling.
Support development of executive communications, thought leadership content, and corporate announcements.
Create visual narratives that communicate the firm’s expertise, value proposition, and project impact.
Produce materials that elevate brand presence across internal and external touchpoints.
Digital, Web & Multimedia
Produce digital-first content (static, animated, and interactive) for websites, intranet, email campaigns, and social platforms.
Support ongoing website maintenance, brand updates, page enhancements, and digital content refreshes.
Partner with the Digital team to evolve the online expression of the brand across microsites and key digital experiences.
Assist with video storyboarding, motion graphics, and basic editing as needed.
Internal Communications
Create assets for employee engagement, culture programs, leadership communications, and corporate initiatives.
Maintain internal brand resources, templates, and design libraries.
Project & Workflow Management
Manage multiple concurrent design projects while maintaining creativity, quality, and timely delivery.
Collaborate cross-functionally with technical staff, proposal and marketing teams, and leadership.
Maintain organized digital files and follow production, accessibility, and version-control standards.
Minimum Qualifications
10–15+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within AEC or professional services.
Portfolio demonstrating high-quality corporate communications, information design, visual storytelling, and digital-first content.
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and advanced presentation design in PowerPoint.
Proven ability to lead projects end to end, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Expertise in PowerPoint and Word templates for high-quality, layout-heavy documents.
Working knowledge of motion graphics, video editing, and digital content creation (After Effects, Premiere Pro) preferred.
Familiarity with project management tools and digital asset libraries.
Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and email marketing systems.
Strong UI/UX sensibilities for component libraries, microsites, and interactive content.
Understanding of SEO, digital marketing fundamentals, and analytics-informed iteration.
Competencies
Strong visual storytelling and layout expertise.
Ability to simplify complex information through design.
Exceptional attention to detail and brand consistency.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
Working Hours & Location Full-time, Exempt. Standard business hours with occasional evenings and weekends during peak workloads. Hybrid or Remote role with approximately 25% travel. Candidates based in North America and within proximity to a Consertus office are preferred.
Compensation Range $100,000–$120,000; Eligible for Bonus
