Senior Product Marketing Manager – ControlUp ControlUp is the market leader in Digital Employee Experience (DEX) management, giving organizations increased visibility and control over employees’ digital experience regardless of where they work or where the infrastructure lives, on‑premises or in the cloud. We’re a fast‑growing company looking for great people to join us on the road to world domination. To become a ControlUpper, you should be a team player, a positive thinker, eager to learn, and an obstacle‑crusher.

About The Role As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be part of a team of product and technical marketing professionals responsible for the content, positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market (GTM) strategy of ControlUp solutions. You will create value‑based and technical sales content, contribute to thought leadership, launch new solutions, and help open new market opportunities for ControlUp and our partners. Attention to detail, an eye for quality, and the ability to translate technical capabilities into benefits are crucial. You will collaborate closely with product management, field sales teams, and other marketing functions to prioritize messaging, tools, and content that support sales and product launch processes.

What You Will Do

Develop and iterate product positioning and messaging that differentiates ControlUp DEX solutions in the market.

Understand the user and customer journeys and align key messages to target audiences, especially in executing sales plays focused on user and customer value for ControlUp products.

Use your domain knowledge and technical expertise to create content that helps customers learn about, select, and become advocates for ControlUp.

Attend, contribute to, and present at ControlUp field marketing events—including working on messaging and themes, creating and delivering booth demos, presentations, and briefing sales teams on how to follow up on leads generated at events.

Create and maintain sales enablement content that educates the field on product capabilities supporting specific use cases.

Perform market and competitive intelligence to understand the landscape and position the product competitively; serve as the voice of the customer to product teams to reinforce solving customer challenges.

Collaborate cross‑team—work with engineering, product, and sales to deliver slide decks, tutorials, eBooks, demos, videos, and other collateral that align with GTM initiatives.

Advocate for and keep content up‑to‑date and consistently discoverable for sales and SE teams.

What You Will Bring

5+ years of B2B software product marketing experience with at least 2 years related to End‑User Computing (e.g., Citrix, VMware Horizon, Microsoft AVD) or Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) desktop solutions.

A thorough understanding of relevant technologies and a curiosity and passion to learn how things work.

Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, including the ability to create and deliver effective presentations.

Ability to drive technical content projects to completion independently and in a timely manner.

Strong project management skills and the ability to build end‑to‑end plans and manage execution across cross‑functional teams.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of building relationships with geographically dispersed colleagues and teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field—or equivalent experience.

Experience with video editing and graphics design is a plus.

Alignment with ControlUp’s values: Good vibes, In it together, Open minded, Own it, and Always approachable.
