We believe architecture is more than designing buildings, it’s about providing solutions to societal challenges and creating stronger, more vibrant communities. As part of our Architecture practice at HDR, you’ll contribute to the design and delivery of spaces and experiences that advance community well-being around the world.
In the role of Landscape Designer, we'll count on you to:
Work under the direction of registered Landscape Architect to assist in development of site design projects, from concept design to construction documentation.
Understand that assignments have specified objectives and require investigation of many variables, including site analysis, building operation, vehicular and pedestrian traffic, site grading, storm drainage, and planting design.
Conduct site visits and analyses, and assist the project Landscape Architect with illustration of design using combination of hand-drawn and computer-rendered graphics.
Provide REVIT / AutoCAD production support during concept and schematic design, design development, and construction document phases.
Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference given to local candidates.
Rhino and Revit experience.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering.
AutoCAD, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel experience.
Ability to prepare site plans and understand the principles of grading and drainage.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
