Location: Wilmington, NC or Remote, USA. Duration: 1 Year. Vacancies: 2. Hourly Rate: $65 - 80/hour W2. Project: Nuclear. The Designer will provide drafting and detailing support for structural design of the BWRX-300 Reactor Building from preliminary phase through construction documents. Preparation of 3D Revit structural models and 2D drawings and details of structural building systems. Responsibilities

Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of 3D models, 2D cross sections, section details, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection. Utilize in-depth knowledge of a structural discipline, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute policy/strategy. Have knowledge of structural drafting and design best practices, including interfaces with mechanical piping, HVAC and electrical. Design activity will require knowledge of design principles and drafting procedures. Work with BIM coordinator to manage and issue models in Autodesk Construction Cloud tool while enforcing configuration management plan. Support Civil Structural Team in 3D model (Navisworks, Revit). Proficient in Revit & Autodesk suite of tools. Use technical experience and analytical thinking. Use multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions. Qualifications

An Associate's degree in Structural Design (or similar) with 3 years of experience in structural drafting for heavy industrial, thermal power, nuclear industry or similar industries, OR at least 5 years of relevant work experience in structural drafting for heavy industrial, thermal power, nuclear industry or similar industries. Minimum 3 years of experience using Revit for structural modeling Experience managing project work schedules and priorities. Work proactively with Engineering teams to develop 3D Model in Autodesk Tool suite (Revit) Work within a team environment to execute work plans and schedules as applicable for mission success. Perform work in compliance with policies and procedures. Competency in computer programs and software such as Microsoft products and Microsoft Teams Advanced knowledge of Revit family creation Autodesk Inventor experience a plus Experience using Autodesk BIM360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud Experience using Autodesk Vault
