Work under general direction, using radio and computer communication systems to coordinate and manage communication and activity between Licking County Law Enforcement Agencies and other emergency response agencies. Receive, transmit, and process radio and computer communications. Utilize Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and radio to dispatch law enforcement personnel. Respond to officer and civilian requests; provide assistance as needed. Operate and monitor multiple computerized telecommunication systems and radio systems to transmit and receive messages. Assist the public by answering emergency calls, coordinating a response, and providing first‑aid instruction and other emergency assistance. Route telephone calls and disseminate information to deputies, law enforcement agencies, and other emergency personnel. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Prerequisites

Minimum qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen, have a valid Ohio driver’s license, and possess a high school diploma or equivalency diploma. Additional qualifications:

Upon hire, candidate must successfully complete a field training program and become trained and certified in Emergency Police and Medical protocols, CPR certification, and LEADS certification. Application Procedure
