Job Description
The Content & Communications Specialist will play a key role in transforming complex business information into engaging, visually appealing, and easy-to-understand content.
Working closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams, this person will document processes, create impactful internal communications, and design multimedia content that enhances knowledge sharing, engagement, and awareness within the organization.
The role requires creativity, organization, and a collaborative spirit to translate ideas into effective communications aligned with the company’s goals and brand standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
Meet with stakeholders and subject matter experts to document business processes, standards, and best practices.
Develop clear and engaging documentation that enhances the internal knowledge base.
Tailor content to different audiences and communication objectives.
Write and edit articles showcasing team projects and achievements.
Apply taxonomy and metadata to maintain organized and consistent content.
Create visuals, infographics, and multimedia content supporting internal communications.
Produce content for internal channels, digital signage, and social media.
Develop videos and visual assets adhering to the organization’s brand standards.
Collaborate across teams to promote knowledge sharing and employee engagement.
Coordinate campaigns and events that support learning and collaboration.
Use tools like Jira and Confluence to manage content and track progress.
Balance multiple projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
Demonstrate initiative, creative problem-solving, and strong attention to detail.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience creating both written and visual content for communications or knowledge-sharing purposes.
Strong writing, editing, and interviewing abilities.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Canva.
Experience using collaboration platforms like Jira and Confluence.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive, solution-driven approach.
Nice to Have
Experience designing with Figma or similar tools.
Background in internal communications or employee engagement initiatives.
Familiarity with enterprise branding standards and content taxonomy.
Experience producing short-form video content or animations.
