Senior Talent Acquisition Partner III | The Judge Group | Internal Recruitment The Proposal Writer I is responsible for contributing to the development of proposal narratives and RFP responses that effectively communicate Judge’s objectives, solutions, and benefits to potential and existing clients. This role requires excellent written and verbal communication, research, and organizational skills. Reports to: VP, Proposals
Primary Responsibilities Reviewing Requests for Proposals
Understand the requirements, objectives, and timelines of RFPs.
Proposal Development
As directed by a manager or senior department member, participate in the writing, revision, and editing of RFP response drafts.
Interact with internal subject matter experts to gather information about service offerings to create a compelling narrative.
Review and Revision
Proofread proposal content for style, grammar, clarity, and cohesion.
Ensure the proposal is compliant with RFP requirements.
Project Coordination
Interact with and coordinate proposal efforts with executives, sales, and a variety of back-office departments such as legal, finance, HR, insurance, consultant onboarding, and others.
Maintain and track proposal schedules and deadlines.
Professional Development / Additional Responsibilities
Stay current with industry trends and best practices through regular research and professional development.
Develop and maintain relevant skills.
Perform any other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
1-2 years of proven experience as a Proposal Writer or similar role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to meet hard deadlines
Proficiency with MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
